The passion that I had forgotten

Sitting with you brings to my mind thoughts of our yesterday’s and who we grew to become. Strangers that had fallen in love, only to grow apart. But now, staring into your eyes, my mind is being flooded, with The passion that I had forgotten.

Years have passed since our first hello’s took place. We were there for so many years anticipating forever together. But then, out of the blue, tomorrow began to look a lot like yesterday. Arguing about nothing. Each of us trying to prove points that were unimportant. Today, we’re putting aside our aggression, daydreaming about once deep love. This action has me remembering, The passion that I had forgotten.

No matter the outcome of us, I firmly recollect smiling along side of you during the good times. Our laughter, loud enough to drown out the loudest applause at any concert. If those good days are behind us, so be it. I wish you the best wherever you find yourself. But being with you today, laughing and caring, loving and sharing.
