RE: LESSON LEARNED #12 - SHARING AND CARING NETWORK
Shows like Cheers, Laverne and Shirley and Taxi were popular because the largest TV base according to Nielsen ratings at the time were aimed at the blue collared American. This was in a time when working at the steel mill or other factories were just the way of life in most major U.S. cities. That landscape has changed and now they tailor to completely different demographics.
I agree - however it doesn't make anonymity any more beneficial to the mental health of our world. I'm saddened when the most common word we hear these days about our relationships is "complicated". Oh - that reminds me of my next post to come - "complicated"!!
Haha to the word complicated. When someone says that word just be prepared for the storm of trash that's been long a brewing. Also, we live in a world that is so very well connected but most suffer from such a disconnect it's just sad.
Nothing is ever complicated. People usually want to make something more than what it really is. I feel the same when I know someone is telling me things that are just dancing around the truth.
So true.
