THE INTERNET AND THE PARK

in #life7 years ago

It is well known that throughout the entire stage of a child labelled childhood, he/she is bound to possess natural love for outings, picnics, parties, meet ups and all what not...

Well... I would say that was then.

How about now? The image below says it all..

Still I would love to ask, has the rush for internet offered reality actually killed the actual reality we once enjoyed as kids?

If yes, are there any ways out of this?

Yes, kids hardly play anymore...
The internet has taken over..

You're right

The times have changed from when we go out and engage in activities, we would rather sit in bed with our devices and click buttons.

On a regular day, which would you prefer? To go out and socialize or to stay at home and click buttons?

To go out and socialize, not really much of a stay at home person.

Oh! Okay... I'm more of the latter... I'm not really the social type

But then in Nigeria, was there a time we ever played that we didn't incur the wraths of adults? Now that there is phone, let us jejely stay on it.

Lol... True though buh I'll have to dispute that.. You could say some adults cause definitely there are kids there that no matter how they play the adults don't care..

That's true, I remembered vividly in those days when evening approaches and by the time the moon is the source of light that children's will gather and play different forms of play. Internet, mobile phones, play stations and so on has now taking the place of the good old time tales and play by moon light. Thanks for reminding us all what has been lost over time
