IT'S NOT ABOUT THE VALUE YOU GET BUT THE VALUE YOU GIVE

My message to you all:

"It's the value I can give to this not I can get. I will still be thankful to you because I can now see how I can give value to this Steemit Community where I am in even when you see this post and didn't appeal to you. I don't know if you already found value to what you're doing right now but I hope it makes you happy. Happiness is also a value."

Like this very platform where I indulged myself in, life as well requires us that we put value to it. As lots of people were blinded about the riches present in this world, the true meaning and essence of having one has just been forgotten slowly. The real value about living this life is just all about what value you give to it and not what value you can get from it.

Life has principles itself, why not choose to abide by it?

As a state abides by its rules so that it may attain peace; as constituents respect their leaders so that there will be an authority; as children honors parents' advises so as to lead them to the right path of life, so does life. Life has rules itself- I mean set of rules. And yes! It has its own natural flow like river waters streaming down to whichever way the current leads it to. And whenever you are going to disrupt its natural rhythm, it will only just leave you hanging.

Sometimes we always think of things we never had without appreciating the things we already had. And the value you just shown in there is discontentment. I am always blessed by a bible verse which always keeps reminding me that being contented of what we have and thanking God for it is a thing which glorifies God. Just like 1 Timothy 6:6 says, Godliness with contentment is a great gain which indispensably means to me that when there is contentment, there is gain. The first letter to the Thessalonians 5:18 expresses that in everything, in every life's circumstances we must thank God. It's the value of gratitude. Thanking Him for every situation you had even when it already hurt you and caused you into trouble, God will really be pleased.

See that when we speak about the word value, what then comes to our mind (naturally) is the thing the world rotates for -money. But value often comes with a heart. The value you give to a thing even when that thing is already crumpled, destroyed, deteriorated, tainted, or even torn into pieces will stay a value if it is by heart. Just like money for example: you see money as money still when it's newly released from a bank or crumpled already because you can still buy anything you want by it. But when money is torn down or burnt, the value you gave to it will be gone because you simply can't use it to buy something out of it.

What's the point here is that value is dependent on a perspective. How you look on a particular thing offers a value. Of course when it's really your passion to work on something else and you spend quality time on it- like you never stop doing it because it's a thing that can really make you happy, well then, you are simply giving value to it. And what's the value? The value of LOVE, PASSION and TIME (and all which relates to it) and that's simply what you gave. If you work as a grade school teacher and what always comes in your mind is the question - "How much value (money) I can get out from my teaching? Would it be enough for myself? Would be enough to buy me the latest Iphone X the world is currently on trend?". Well then, you're just boring yourself because eventually you'll find another job when you'll see that the salary you get monthly isn't enough for your needs. And then you found another job, evaluating the value you can get again and then you're not satisfied so you find another one and then over and over again until you'll be bored and eventually breaks out.

See? The above scenario importantly tells us that seeing the value that you can get out from something is a sign of discontentment and dissatisfaction for it will lead you to something higher, bigger and greater. I am not saying that dreaming big is a sign but we just first have to evaluate if that is really what we want to do in life because if you are just joining the hype you will never give value into something. After all, what matters the most is the value you give because it's the thing which can never be stolen from you. Anywhere you go, you carry it because just like your soul, it stays within your being.
