Nobody has a clue: Are our parents and guardians leading us off-track?

Growing up, I have always looked upto my elders and those supposedly with superior life experience. They’ve lived through it, they’ve tasted it, they’ve smelt it. So I guess I listened, mainly because I didn’t really have a choice... (coming from an West African background, its the way things are) 

Nevertheless, I was very stubborn. Questioning everything, why things are the way they are and why we had to do things this way and the answers I received, were... this is how it’s been done. 

Im 23, and now I realise nobody has a clue.
