The roles we serve

We have many roles we will serve.
People will come in and out of your life, you will be a refuge for some, or they a blessing for you.
Some people will be the best thing to ever happen to you, others will be the worst, you will be the worst thing to others at times.
There is no perfect role that makes you the brightest thing to everyone, no matter how good you are, someone will hate you for something.
And no matter how bad you are, someone somewhere will love you, madly, regretfully, and against all better judgement.
Do not presume to be all things to all people, you are not & never will be, to try is to lose yourself in the eyes & opinions of others.
