It was one of the best days of my life, 23.02.2018, the day I got my long waited driver license. At noon I was finished with all my work and was heading home happy and excited to tell the news to my family. On the road when I was close to the bus station I saw, in the distance a woman on the floor and two people near her who wanted to help her get up. But when I came a little closer I realized it was a old woman in her 70’s, with face full of blood, who can barely stand on her feet. I immediately took the wet napkins out of my bag and helped her to clean up, I cleaned her jacket and her bag, in that time her nose stopped bleeding, she probably broke it. I felt so sorry for her and for a few minutes I didn’t know what to do, the other people left and I was left with her, I couldn’t left her like that. I asked her million times if she wanted to go to the hospital, but she refused because her neighbor was a nurse and she will help her once she got home. So I picked up my phone and called my boyfriend, which when he hears he immediately jumped out of the bed in the car and in 10 minutes he was in the bus station. Those minutes were the hardest minutes of my life, even though her nose wasn’t bleeding and she wasn’t hurt, she was very scared and was shacking. I still insisted to go to the hospital when I heard she had high blood pressure, but she refused. So I tried to calm her and told her that everything is going to be fine.
On the road she calmed down and she wasn’t scared anymore; she didn't felt sick and she can stand on her feet again. We helped her with the luggage and she thanked us many times, thing which softens my heart. I couldn’t imagine if I wasn’t there to help her. I hugged her many times and sit for little to see if she was ok. Then I left but not without to take her number and give mine to check how she was later.
So this is how I won a granny. Now I talk to her every day and visit her once a week to see how she is. Now she is still recovering after the fall, but she feels much better, I am glad that I could help her.
Thank God I was there so I can help her and of course I am grateful for my boyfriend because he was so fast, I had so much help from him^_^
