My trip to the best amusement park in the world! (Cedar Point)(Pictures and videos)
I'd say I have been close to 10 times now, and each time I go it gets a little more elaborate. There seems to always be a new roller coaster, or a new place to chow down. They're constantly expanding that place.
The reason we went this time:
So, my significant other(Emily), and myself, were coming up on our 8th anniversary of being together, so we decided Cedar Point would be a great way to celebrate it. Every other time we went we had a blast.
The trip there was an eight hour drive, that turned out to be pretty eventful on account of the weather. It was on and off torrential down pours and severe emergency weather alerts. I did a post about this HUGE crazy cloud I seen on the way. Check it out!
Cedar Point

This is actually the second oldest operating amusement park in the world! I didn't know this until I looked into it, but it opened in 1870, and holds a world record, of 71 rides.
Top Thrill dragster:
This is the Top Thrill Dragster. When it debuted it held four world records.
- World's tallest complete circuit roller coaster
- World's tallest roller coaster
- World's tallest roller coaster drop
- World's fastest roller coaster
It reaches 420 feet, with a top speed of 120 mph!!!! Let me tell you, I have rode this thing more times than I can count, and when you take off you can literally feel your organs move. Hahaha
Here is a video I took of it taking off.
Here is the wiki page for the facts.
Millennium Force:
The Millennium Force is probably my favorite ride there. This is a short video I took while we were waiting in line.
We seen a ton of cool stuff during our time there. Like this Mechanical statue riding a flying bike. Haha
@matt-a is this uncle Basil? Haha
Toward the end of our day there, after being burnt and wore out, we decided to bring it all to an end with a ride on the Ferris wheel, to get a great view of the entire park. On one side we had the beach(Lake Eerie), and on the other, a view of the whole park in action. Here is a couple videos and pictures from the last moments of us there.

Cedar Point rules. Millennium Force blew my mind as a kid.
My first time riding it I was nervous as hell, but then immediately loved it afterwards. haha
