Sugar is one of a big deal when it comes to food and healthy lifestyle.
However not everyone is aware about the damages it makes in our body, especially our brains.

Once you have the taste of sugary foods, it activates the sweet taste receptors in the tongue. These particular receptors send signals to the brain and cerebral cortex. And once it reaches the cerebral cortex , it activates the brain's reward system - which later makes us crave even more sugar, and more.. and more. So we end up at the endless cycle of sugar craving!
But, it's not only sugar that activates this part of the brain. Sex and drugs activate it as well.
