At this time I would like to tell you about the process of planting rice in my village. In the village of "blang in geunteng " is rice planting season. The society has a busy rice paddies to maintain it each, rice will be planted with rice was hijacked in advance using traditional plows (usually the community's "blang dalam geunteng " call it the motto mu'ue). even though now there are already more sophisticated tools (Tractor), but most villagers "blang in geunteng " prefer to use the traditional plow tool. This traditional tool uses two cows as the main engines, and there is one person in charge of the control.

After rice finished plowed the rice paddies, hoe to flatten the ground. After that, rice ready planted. Rice planting is done by many people, the people will get a share of the rice paddy owners when the rice is harvested.

Although sometimes it rained, they do not stop working and not making their passion. Actually, planting paddy is not just done in the rainy season, during the dry season, some farmers plant rice also fixed them with rice. However, the methods used vary with the methods in the rainy season (rice fields in "blang dalam geunteng " is rainwater, so that it will dry when the dry season). Methods used to plant rice during the dry season, usually called the "signs", i.e. planting rice by way of pulling the rope before planting so that flat and easy for maintenance when the rice grains are willing to bear, then for the sake of a grain of rice seeds are inserted into the in the holes that have been made.
