Why I want to become a professional engineer
My determination was I want to become a professional engineer was spated a few years ago and has multiple regions. When I began looking into my options for tertiary study and a career, engineering was one of the few profession that instantly attracted my attention. The first draw card for me was that engineering encompasses the subject I enjoy studying and succeed in school, pursing a career that allows me to continue these love in a real world situation seems like the most natural progression for me from my secondary study. I have always had a passion and talent for maths though am not that good in maths but at least I rate myself 3.0/5 and from that my love for physics stemmed. In maths I enjoy working with figures and physics has provided me with the practical application of this subject. I also enjoy problem solving as it forces me to outside the box while still working with concrete fact and figures. I see engineering as the perfect extension of these love in which I called further develop them and apply then to real world situation, which benefit the wider community. Throughout my years at secondary school I have thrived in an environment where I'm challenged everyday. It is in my nature to push myself, in both my academic and extra-curricular pursuit. I am very much aware of the challenges in studying engineering present and this too is one of the reason I wish to pursue engineering. It has been well ingramed in me that success comes from determination and hard work, so I wish to do my best in a degree and career which will constantly expand my knowledge and challenge me to engage my brain at every turn. In conclusion I would like to become a professional engineering because I have a strong passion for maths, physics and problem solving and have been taught from young age that you must push yourself to succeed. I see engineering as the perfect career in my life to push myself and expand my knowledge on a regular basis
