Plastic bag dispenser by Ariel
Want an easy peasy way to organize your life and make it easier? I have a fun DIY just for you, and all you need is some paint and an empty liter bottle of soda.
Time: 20 Minutes Cost: $9.00 Difficulty: Easy
Take your liter bottle of soda pop, and make sure it is all cleaned out. You don't want soda in the bottle because it will make your bags sticky!
Then measure an inch with your ruler, making sure to mark inward 1 inch.
Next, use a box cutter to begin cutting along the line you created. You’ll be doing this process on the top and the bottom of the bottle.
Now onto the fun part! Grab some paint, and a few scrapbooking alphabet stickers. Paint the plastic bottle your desired color then when it is dried and ready, place any saying you want on the bottle. I put “Bags” in glitter letters on mine :)
Finally, take a removable Command Strip, and attach it to the back of the dispenser. That way, if you ever feel like moving the dispenser about your home you can do so without damaging your walls.
Voila!
You now have an adorable plastic bag dispenser that keeps all of your bags in one place, and is super duper handy.
Materials I used for this project:
- Liter Bottle of Soda (Kitchen)
- Paint (Michael's Arts and Crafts)
- Scrapbook Letters (Michael's Arts and Crafts)
So creative!
