Are You Biased or Not?
There are like million examples of biases in the history of mankind. One might argue that those were the primeval times and that is why people were more biased. And by people, I am strongly pointing towards the ‘Rich’.
You see, poor people have never ever acquired that certain freedom to be biased. They are neglected and mistreated; it cannot be expected of them to have an opinion – at least that is what the rich think!
We are biased because we just never want to accept that we are wrong. It takes sheer courage to accept the consequences. We just don’t like to be proven wrong by someone else.
Talking about today’s society, we have made major strides in every aspect of life. Yet, we all are biased at one stage or another. Here is a simple observatory experiment for you:
QUESTIONS:
- Ask yourself, are you biased when it comes to ‘Your gain’
- Are you part of a biased society where people often make premature decisions just because they do not like the color or religion of another person
- Do you feel ashamed when someone tries to correct you?
