Teenagers are a transition between childhood and adulthood. At this time children experience growth and physical and psychological development, they are not children either body shape or way of thinking or acting, but not adults who have matured (Zakiah Darajat 1990: 23). The same thing is expressed by Santrock (2003: 26) that adolescence (adolescene) is defined as a developmental period of transition between childhood and adulthood that includes biological, cognitive, and socio-emotional changes.

In fact, studies show that many teenagers, at an early age, are trapped in unhealthy reproductive behaviors, such as premarital sex.
Adolescence is a phase of growth and development between childhood and adulthood. In this period there was a very rapid change in the physical, mental and social dimensions. This period is also a period of identity search, so teenagers are very easily affected by the environment. Generally the process of physical maturation faster than psychosocial maturation because it often happens that the imbalance causes teenagers are very sensitive and prone to stress. Physical development and sexual maturity changes very rapidly, this situation is one cause or reason for teens to experiment with unsafe sexual activity. Knowledge of adolescent about reproductive health did not affect to adolescent in doing premarital sexual activity. Teenagers who know and who do not know about reproductive health has no effect on their attitude to premarital sexual activity.
