RE: LIFE AFTER DEATH - Where do you go after you die?
really in a literal sense you are not wrong here, the laws of thermodynamics support the idea. in a literal sense one day our star will explode and if we are still in the sol system we will be obliterated and blasted off to join another star system. the idea of energy in the form of a "soul" or "spirit" holds little to no credence with me as it is labled "supernatural" for a reason.
even if the supernatural does exist the very definition prevents it from being examined by science.
If the science can't examine it, it does not mean it can't exist. It is "supernatural" to the limits of our limited thinking and limited mind. The radio signal did not exist until we found a way to discover it, and used it. It is called "supernatural" only because science did not find a way to make it "science". lol
In the end, it all comes down to what you believe. But if you sit on the internet I am sure you can much "science" about the soul and plane human existence. :)
i suppose, about as much as a preacher teaches history. :P oh, and if radio waves were ever referred to as supernatural it was an exaggeration. if it qualifies by definition as Supernatural science not only wont but cant examine it. however i agree with the idea you were going with there just because something qualifies as supernatural now doesnt mean it would qualify with significant advancements in related fields. Stephen Le'berge and others work with lucid dreams is a fine example of when something we considered"myth" or "urban legend" because it couldnt be studied and measured before similar researchers came along leading up to Stephen and his team at Harvard. Not only are lucid dreams proven to be real now, we have a pretty good idea that most everyone can do it and have worked out the most effective methods to train yourself to do it on command.
So interesting
