So, I'm at the supermarket, grabbing a few items, and as always - tuned into the overhead jams (strangely, no Michael McDonald today!?).

Anyway, "Love Train" by The O'Jays comes on... and I just happened to be on the Express line (hmmm) with some white button mushrooms, paper towels, and some Spring water. I start singing along with The O'Jays (to myself), "People all over the world" .... "vote-up", and "start a STEEM Train, a STEEMIT Train". I chuckle out loud, SMH... thinking, is this some new obsession I'm rapidly developing?

As I'm singing my Alt-lyrics...

I imagine myself sitting on a hillside in some far away land, sipping some smooth soothing Bordeaux, watching a beautiful, steam train emerging from a tunnel way down Beleaux, brilliantly hand-sprayed with 'Steemit' on its side, as if it were tagged by the one-and-only PHASE 2... or maybe it was the work of Ramo from Beat Street? Ah, to be 12 again.

So two sips later, glass half-full...

it makes that final turn around the bend, overlooking a 503 foot drop, and moving steadily towards its destination... letting out one loud final horn Bleaux, as a haunting reminder. That grand loco, soon enveloped by steam, like a reality turned into a dream - out of sight, never to be seen again.

Wine in hand, glass now half-empty...

and seeming more like blood from a wound, I sigh and then ponder... did I just make one of the most foolish decisions of my life?

Suddenly, I WAKE UP!

I let out a HUGE sigh, but this time one of relief! I stand up and recite aloud: "I will NOT be that guy. I WILL make this a REALITY. I am WIDE awake and ready to join hands with people all over the world!"

As the The O'Jays start to make their way back into my mind... I smile, as I pour myself a tall glass of some spring water to start my day. And as I take that first quenching sip, I can't help but think of the reciprocal relationship between water and steam....

Again, I smile.
