Loch Walk 🌞
When travelling people often asked me about the weather in Scotland, after all it has a pretty bad rep. The truth is we have ALL the weathers, often in one week, sometimes in one day.
On Sunday last week we had a snow storm, but by Thursday it was like this. Perfect for a lazy day stroll around the Loch.
Often I visit places and think "I wish I lived here", I think that most days in Linlithgow, and then I remind myself that I do!
From where we were standing this bird ⬆ looked exactly like a penguin! 🐧
We found out what it was later but I can't remember, so for now I'll call him Pingu.
Bella and Sulley loved getting to run off lead, especially since the whole pack was together.
I guess not many people can claim to live so close to a castle. This is Linlithgow Palace were Mary Queen of Scots was born.
We're hoping that things fall into place so that @cottonlazarus can leave his job in a couple of months. That will mean so many more days like this!
You are right you are lucky to live in neighborhood to such wonderful castle Linlithgow Palace and be able to enjoy your walks, I believe Bella and Sulley really enjoy the walk, a lot of nature and no cars. By the way this little bird looks really like a penguin from a distance. I bet your baby also enjoys a good sleep in fresh air :)
We moved out of the city because rent became too expensive, but now even if we could afford it I don't think I'd want to move back. I've just started putting baby Oban in his sitting up buggy seat, I'm looking forward to taking him on another loch walk now that he can see the sights. 😃
