How To Be Successful In Life: 8 Tips From The World’s Most Successful People

in #life7 years ago

No matter how old you are, where you’re from or what you do for a living, we all share something in common—a desire to be successful. Each person’s definition of success is different, however, as some may define success as being a loving and faithful spouse or a caring and responsible parent, while most people would equate success with wealth, fame, and power.
We all want to achieve success so we could live a comfortable life—have financial freedom, drive a nice car, and live in a beautiful house. However, although success can be achieved, it does not come easy.

I-THINK BIG

From Michelangelo Buonarroti, Great Renaissance Artist: “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.”

II-FIND WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO AND DO IT

From Oprah Winfrey, Media Mogul: “You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job and not be paid for it.”

III- LEARN HOW TO BALANCE YOUR LIFE

From Phil Knight, CEO of Nike Inc.: “There is an immutable conflict at work in life and in business, a constant battle between peace and chaos. Neither can be mastered, but both can be influenced. How you go about that is the key to success.”

IV- Do NOT BE AFRAID OF FAILURE

From Henry Ford, Founder of Ford Motors: “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.”

V- HAVE AN UNWAVERING RESOLUTION TO SUCEED

From Colonel Sanders, Founder of KFC: “I made a resolve then that I was going to amount to something if I could. And no hours, nor amount of labor, nor amount of money would deter me from giving the best that there was in me. And I have done that ever since, and I win by it. I know.”

VI- DON'T BE AFRAID OF INTRODUCING NEW IDEAS

From Mark Twain, Famed Author: “A person with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds.”

VII-BELIVE IN YOUR CAPACITY TO SUCEED

From Walter Disney, Founder of Walt Disney Company: “If you can dream it, you can do it.”

VIII-BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION

From Steve Jobs, Co-founder of Apple Inc.: “Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

I love that quote of Steve Jobs, it still amazes me how successful he was with just a vision and no real programming ability.

it's so amazing it's not your problem being born poor but it's your foulght dieing poor <3

"Don't focus on people judgment if it doesn't make you happier" .

what a good quote <3 it will really helps me

That is a great list. What I have learned is that all you need is to have positive, uplifting intentions and trust that you will find your path. This path will definitely include setbacks and obstacles, but these moments are a blessing as they perpetuate wisdom and personal expansion. Without feelings of discomfort, we wouldn't experience the exhilaration of success. Embrace it all as part of the process, be focused and attentive to your present moment experience as much as you can. As you do this you will realize that you can trust that whatever is required from you in any situation will naturally arise, including learning from failure.

thanks <3 and i hope that i gived you a hand of help <3

“You know you are on the road to success if you would do your job and not be paid for it.”

Tough one. Because of the necessity for money. Kinda ties into the whole "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life"
Not true. There's always gonna be a battle of sorts even if you love your job. Like for healthcare workers like myself, the propsed health care changes would remove coverage from 2/3 of elderly who NEED nursing care. I love my job but when shit like that is going down, makes you bitter sometimes

I know exactly what you are talking about, I am health a care worker and things that limited my potential like If patient not covered by insurance, have some ideology make him refuse the treatment, noncompliance patients especially those who have an untreatable chronic disease. This just makes me frustrated sometime.
following you now

@araki Thanks for the follow. You're the first fellow healthcare worker i have seen on here so imma follow you too. I have Some healthcare related posts i wanna make soon.

Yeah, i had a little lady come in was rehabed into walking 50 feet which was phenomenal for her. But she needed a treatment for her knees. That MEDICAID wouldn't cover. Now she is wheelchair bound. So so so sad

Good article, well structured my friend, you will do great.
I loved this one “A person with a new idea is a crank until the idea succeeds.”
