Basant Festival...

The spring festival commonly known as (Basant) is a festival of kites. Its is, therefore, an important day for those who love kite flying . It is, celebrated all over Pakistan, India etc on different days. It usually falls
in the middle of February. It marks the end of winter and the beginning ot
the spring season. Kites are flown in large number by the young
as well as the old. People compete with one another in kite-
flying. They cry at the top of their voice when a kite is
cut off. Many mishaps also occur. Precious lives
are lost or limbs broken.....!!

It is a sheer wastage of money and time also but who care..!!
