Riding Out Ups And Downs

Lately I have been...

talking about this lull I have been in. As I get older I realize that all things come and go. We can't be "on top of it" all the time and that is ok. When these lulls, down times, dark feelings arise it may just be a signal to let go. Holding on so tightly can constrict movement and inspiration from getting through.

And this is what I have been doing, holding on too tightly.

We like to think we are in control and we have it figured out, but often this just makes for a more ridged and stressful experience here in this life. Stepping back and understanding that losing control is not a bad thing is key to less stress and overall happiness. Everything can change in the blink of an eye and if we are in the space of allowing change in whatever way it comes, we open ourselves to more rewarding experiences and a harmonious existence.

I look forward to going deeper into these themes and realities of life with you all. Thanks for reading and sharing. Much love!

I liked what you said, "Holding on so tightly can constrict movement and inspiration from getting through." We must learn to let go and let the strings of life lead us on for life itself has its way of telling us if it's the right time.

Thank you for your post, accepting the lows and embracing the highs, change is good and Spring is here. I appreciate your honest view, I will follow and read along.
