Tough time is a gift
An average person wants to be comfortable, have luxury and be the best he can be without much efforts or struggle but most times life don't hand us the juicy things on a platter. We all have these pictures of things what we want to be in the next so so years but trust life, it happens to when we are making other plans and seemed to got everything locked down...
One thing I learnt with life is there will always be challenge. If you have not got one which I doubt, get yourself ready before life gets to you. Brace yourself, it is coming. It keeps coming at you in many different names and forms. How you overcome them and how many you overcome determine who you are and how great you become.
You just don't become better and stronger physically and mentally. Challenge helps you to become all that. Challenge makes you dig deeper.

It is time to start looking at those challenges as opportunities or a gifts to discover something hidden deep inside of you that you don't even know about. I have never been a writer. When Steemit came along, I could have done like other people and say 'oh, I can't write' and took off. But I found a way and not a way out. I told myself all I have to do is put my thoughts together and turn them to written words. Which is what I am doing right now. It is getting easier day by day. I am still not a 'writer' but fuck it I am writing.
Challenge is ever present, you can chose to run away from it or confront it and be rewarded. To succeed and be the best you can be, you need to look at tough time as life giving you an opportunity to be a better in a particular area. Whatever tough time life is presenting you with, ignoring it will not make it go away and will likely make you a mediocre at best.
Keep doing something everyday every time to turn the curve. I have seen people give up on steemit because they are making shit in their first few days. Some times life handle you shit because it expects you turn it to manure and grow something big with it. So embrace tough times and turn it to blessings.

Absolutely absolutely absolutely ....life doesnt give you what you want you get,what you deserve...everything is about effort....we must get tough for life is going to come at us...one thought leader once said that life is a struggle those who have everything handed to them become lazy, selfish and insensitive to the true value of life...the very struggle and hard work that we so desperately try to avoid are the major building blocks of who we are today...One piece of advise I gave my younger brother repeatedly is:get tough because life is going to come at you.And when it hit you to your knees it wont stop to help you lick your wounds....and as one of my mentors Robin Sharma beautifuly put it...those who sweat the most in practice bleeds the least in war. Incidentally I am seeing your post within the first 10minutes of joining this discord..love it keep writing.

I don't mind working my ass for something beyond basic, but I mind that so many people have to spit blood for bare bones, it is not fair, not right now in this high tech world we live at.
I think that basics should be available to everybody, but in case you want some luxury, well, that should be paid in work.
Yes @aschatria...its hard to bear that a lot has to grind so hard for the basics.
But that's just what this post is all about...whatever life presents you with. You have to find a way to make manure out of shit.
If life had been easy, maybe I would not learn how to 'hustle' on the internet...no to talk of becoming a steemian.
Whatever it is...I believe there is always a way out.

These are great thoughts, another great quote I love is that life is 10% what happens to us, 90% how we respond to it. Challenge doesn't have to mean "hardship" that's all in our perspective, whether we survive, or dance through the rain is our choice!
