The Asong Pinoy that I gave bread

it doesn’t need to be a grand or big to help others, a small act will do to help other people nor animals.

Today, as I was rushing to our eatery far away from our home I met my friend and we talked to each other in a bit even though both of us were in rush yet we still talked to each other as if it’s been years we didn’t see each other. While we were talking I looked back and I saw that poor AsPin (Asong Pinoy) crossing the road and almost got hit, I almost cried so I hurriedly went to that dog calling it by “tokoooy, doggy ali dri maligsan ka” (tokoy, doggy come here you might run over."

He walks so slow because he's wounded and he has a boil or furuncle on his leg and his body overall he's in a bad condition and I know this dog haven't eaten yet in days.
The dog heard me calling him and he went near us so I was feeling relieved that he’s now safe yet I was bothered by his condition and I know this dog is hungry. I interrupt my friend by saying “must save this chikka later because I’m in hurry I need to go to our eatery since I haven’t eaten anything since last night and I need money for my fare going to school” and she said yes.

I ate hurriedly that I almost choked myself and asked my mother and father to give me 20 pesos (less than 1 USD) just for my fare going to school and I took my lunch box so that I can save more for the money my mother and father gave me for my school projects and allowance, then I took the star bread on our eatery (yes we sell other foods on our eatery) to feed for the dog. I’m seriously in a hurry because my partner in research kept calling me yet I went back to the place where the dog is resting.

I squished some parts of the bread to know if the dog will like it and in a blink of an eye he easily devoured it, meaning to say he’s really hungry so I kept feeding him when he was scared by the time I’m going to let him fetch the food for him as if I am throwing him a stone. He went away from me because he was scared, what I did is I put down the bread by putting it on the cellophane and I crossed the road so that he will go back to the place where I put the bread.

I faced him when I was in the opposite side of the road wishing that he’ll be going to eat the bread that I gave and thankfully he went back and I can see it on his face that he was happy that I gave him the food. Later on, there was a jeepney and I left the dog eating the bread that I gave.

I want to bring him home so bad or put him in our eatery because of my mother and father already adopted 3 dogs (supposedly 4 but the other one was caught by the municipal dog pound :( ) and 1 cat, and I know they will feed him there and that dog can stay in our home too but I can't find him every time I am searching for him when I have time and when I am going to school where I can find him laying down beside the road. I'll just hope that I can help this poor dog sooner or later with the help of Our Almighty One. ☺
