Celebration, Have You Ever Did it Once?

Then, your answer will be “Of course, I did it”.

It’s already become our routine to celebrate any celebration around us. Let’s take a simple example of celebration. I am 20th years old and I’ve done 20 times celebration for my birthday, see?

At least, we did once celebration a year for our self. What else if we do celebration for other people? Finally, we did so many celebrations until we cannot count how many celebration or party we are in a day, a month or maybe a year.

The word celebration become extremely crucial for the society today. We prepare the party, cake also the gift for the celebrated. Even though, the person does not ask for the party and etc. So, why we do all the preparation?

Have you ever asked to somebody who prepare a celebration, why they did it? For what possible reason? And what will they get after doing the party?

If you ask me, I will proudly say “I love them and I wanna give a special moment in their special day. However, it’s just a simple celebration like eating, giving present and taking some pictures. Also, this is the way how I can thank to God for sending me the person.

The last question, what will I get after doing the party?

Surely happiness and togetherness because we realize that we cannot always be together and stay forever with our family, sibling, friend, and many else. By doing the party then we solve the problem.

When we meet, we share more and more over simply call them. We directly look at their face, how their facial expression, how the way they smile and laugh and it will totally different if we cannot get together, isn’t it?

Following birthday party, we also did celebration for graduation, anniversary, wedding, feast or in Acehnese we called “kenduri” which means banquet to commemorate events, ask for blessing, salvation and so on. Also, for Muslim we have Eid Fitri and Eid Adha twice a year.

After all, what about the surprise?

You can simply give them cake, present and decorated place even also send post card, flower bouquet, fruits and anything they will.
