Former US Politician John Boehner Joins Marijuana Company

Former House speaker John Boehner (R- Ohio) is now joining a cannabis company.

That’s like converting an atheist into a priest!

Most people think this is "nothing but a bunch of smoke" (pun intended) in the sense that Mr. Boehner served as a major US political figure for many, many years and not once seemed to put forth legislation to either legalize or even re-schedule marijuana in the United States.

So why the change of heart?

Most people of course think there is big money in this for Mr. Boehner. Sadly, it appears that might be the case.

Either way the marijuana business will move on with or without John Boehner's presence in the industry. Truth be told, he's no worse than the dealer around the corner anyways. The only difference is I know where my dealer hides his weapons. With a fella like Boehner, you never know what those cats are up to.

And THAT is what makes me nervous about John Boehner's presence in the marijuana business.
