If You Can't Beat Them Don't Join Them - Kindly Stand Out
I have been observing many things under the heaven. I've witnessed where many people are looking for what will be of help to them without considering the effect of their actions on the people around them or to the people they lead.
I have been hearing the saying "If you can't beat them, you join them".
I keep wondering the reason behind people wanting to join those that are doing bad or those that are doing things that will benefit them without considering the public that owes the same resources that they lavish.
I have witnessed even people that we are looking up to that they are living according to God's standard still make use of the saying "If you can't beat them, you join them" and I keep wondering why people will want to join them to do things that will bring down the growth of people and the society but won't join them in the issues that will benefit all and bring glory to God.
I have witnessed some that we voted for and we thought they have good intention for the people, but unfortunately when they get to the position of that power and authority, they will change along the way and follow the footsteps of those that are there for their own interest and not the interest of people and the most annoying thing is that when they asked them why they didn't fulfil their promises, they will keep saying, ""If you can't beat them, you join them".
By joining other people in doing what is not right is an evidence of lack of love and care for the people. It also means that we can't take our stand when it comes to the issue of decision making.
We don't have to join the public in doing what is not right just because many are doing it already, but we can stand out in the midst of the rotten eggs and make difference and attract others to join us in doing what is right for the well being of people and our societies.
If we all play our own part to always add value to our societies and to the people that we meet in our life journey, this world will be a better place to live in. There will be enough to cater for the people and the resources that are meant for many will not be hijacked by some set of people that did not have the love and care of people in their mind.
You don't have to join them if you can't beat them but you can stand out and make a difference that will make people be remembering you for good. The growth of any Nation depends on joint effort. Play your own part to help this generation and the next generations.
