DEPRESSION
Depression is a serious illness that can happen to anyone, even people who seem to have it all.
People think depression is sadness. People think depression is crying. People think depression is dressing in black. But people are wrong. Depression is the constant feeling of being numb. Being numb to emotions, being numb to life. You wake up in the morning just to go back to bed again.
Everyday it gets harder.
Everyday it's like a nightmare progressing on.
Everyday is another prayer echoing from their bones asking God to take them now.
Everyday they close up more.
Everyday it gets more impossible.
Everyday they feel themselves die more.
Everyday they lay on bed wondering how they'll leave this hell.
Not all smiles are true. They pretend to be okay. Depression is not someone asking for attention.
Depression is not having the energy to even talk to the people you love. Or do anything, actually.
Dear parents, please be contented of what your children can give you. Don't pressure or insist them to give you more. You might create a monster out of your uncontentment.
This is true. Some parents dont realize it because their parents were hard on them. Anyone suffering from depression knows its hard, but talk to someone a friend, family, or even a counselor. I promise you you can get through it.
