I have most of my teeth. I have food in my stomach (all of it floating in a pool of fresh black coffee). I have eaten jelly donuts at Bill’s. I have a place to sleep. Better yet, I have a chair with a lever on its side the lets me recline, a laptop on which to write, an internet connection.

Einstein said there are only two ways to live your life:

  1. As if nothing is a miracle.
  2. As if everything is a miracle.

Here, where we fill our boxes with shiny golden treasures, it should be easier to see the miracles. But here, we often forget to look.
