Kanye West Interview
My whole life my verbal words have been silents by others, I was treated differently for having my own opinion. Even to the point of being put on medication for my views on the world. It seems like more and more people are coming out with their own opinion on the way they view the world and more and more people are calling them crazy.
This interview angered me to the core, because I feel like everyone in the office was trying to justify all of the things that have been going on in the world. I watched him speak and it's felt like all they got out of it was the one comment he said. Almost like they TOTALLY disregard everything else he was saying about what was going on.
"Slavery is a choice"
My take on this comment couldn't be anymore true now. We live in a country in which people think they are free but they're not. I feel like no one sees the puppet strings but me. I see it everyday I come out my house.
Everyday I see people rushing to get somewhere they don't want be, to work a job they don't want to do and deal with people they don't like for what I would call crumbs. Everyday people live in fear of losing their job, whereas now we have so much technology and answers to their problems that it amazes me how many people are not taking advantage of the opportunities out here.
One of the things I remember reading in rich dad poor dad, is that people find it much easier to work for someone else than to start from ground zero and work their way up on their own, I feel like this because that have always been the case when I would ask people why they didn't go their own way.
"Love Conquers All"
It is true that love conquers all, however that is what the problem is. Though it conquers all negative, it also conquer all positive such as rationality, logics and common sense. This is usually what happens when someone "fall in love" thus giving the true meaning of "the crazy thing you do for love."
"We are controlled by the media"
It seems like whenever the media put something out everyone believes it. I watch the ridiculous things on the news (usually watch 2 minute before I become annoyed). It's shocking to know people are controlled by what they media tells them and will go with what the media tells them to do. Seems like now it is illegal to think and speak freely because it doesn't line up with the lies the media projects.
I feel like whenever someone's free thoughts and opinions are stronger than everyone else's hive mind belief, they either ostracize them or drug them to the point where they can't speak anymore and the media/country can rule them off as crazy. I know that was the case for me. I was pushed out of the norms because all of the lies this country tried to feed to me. I manage to find my own way and now i no longer value the same things everyone else value. But because my belief is different, I'm not heard. So I choose as a free spirit not to deal with the humans in this country on a personal level unless our values are the same.
