Slog On!
It is rather surreal to understand how many lives have been turned upside down while I am just sort of doing what I would be doing any year. Minus the beer thirty with my neighbors. I miss that, but I had quit drinking beer already for that allergy diet and figured at the start of a pandemic was probably NOT the time to start back in. However, when this is over, beer will be consumed.
What's your husbands assessment of all the stuff going on? Is he putting in a lot of hours? Right about now I wish I did live out in the middle of nowhere like you. Our county has a low count right now but I expect that to change over the next few days as the weather has gotten really nice and people are out in hoards. Now with them talking about how easily spread this is, finding it out in the hallways at hospitals and in ventilation systems above patients room, that it can live three hours in the air and possibly form gaseous clouds I am not even sure I will be able to open my windows when things get warm with all those fools less than a hundred feet from my house all cramming up on the basketball court across the street. Like as if things weren't stressful enough. It's been all most a month since I've seen my other grand kids and it really sucks.
Yep, with Mark working at the hospital we just reverse quarantined ourselves immediately, haven't had a grandbaby hug in WAY too long now. And yes, the hours are insane. This little hospital would likely just ship any cases to Boise if they got one, but they just had a perfect storm of nurse issues and so Mark just works, pretty much all the time. He gets A day off now and then but rarely 2 together, and these are 12 hour shifts. So far, they claim he WILL get his vacation, after earlier asking everyone to put all vacation plans on hold, so if things do not go berserk between now and the end of the month, he will get a real break.
Stay well!!
