Getting old is weird
I was walking to the grocery store today at 8:30, only to discover that it opens at 9:00 so no quite so early shopping for me. I haven't been able to sleep-in for years now. Not because I don't want to but because I physically can't.
The store that wasn't open was playing Crazy for this Girl from its parkinglot speakers,
by, Evan and Joron, identical twin brothers. The song is about a guy who likes a girl but "she doesn't know how I feel" great lyrics for the high school demographic.
High school is where I was in the year 2000 when the song came out, 17 years ago.
The past creates the future and is then replayed to influence the present.
Teenagers today are buying Nirvana t-shirts at Urban Outfitters because some of them grew up listening to their parents listening to Nirvana.
