Like and love.

Today my English teacher discussed a very interesting and knowledgeful topic. He said that I have seen many people who are using the words "Like and Love" but  don't know the actual meaning of these two words.According to my teacher;

LIKE

He said that when you wants to get something to complete your own wishes means that you like that thing.You will trying only to get that thing.You will give preference to your own wishes more than the needs and wishes of that thing.

LOVE

He said that if you love something then you will not only wants to get that thing but you will always trying your best to do something to support that thing.You will always want to develop the quality of that thing.You will give more preference to complete the needs and wishes of that thing more than your own wishes. 

My teacher gave a very good example about Like and Love.He gave the example of flower.He said that if  you see a flower in a garden on a plant.Now if you like that flower then you will simply pluck it and you will complete your wish of owning the flower.And you will never think about the life of the flower.As a result after two or three days the flower will die. But if you love the flower then you will not thinking to own it by plucking it from its plant.You will watering the plant of the flower.You will want to see it for long time on the plant.

So the lesson we get from this is that we should love each other.We should see to the interests of one another.We should give preference to the benefits of other.Thanks for reading.
