This is one of the scenes in my life I'm most familiar with. From even back when I was aged in single digits.

A little fact about myself. I've lived in the same house for my entire life. It's the only home I know and as you can imagine, the memories contained within it's rooms and foundations, are countless. That tree right there, is actually situated in my neighbours backyard. But, growing up, my friends and I used to jump the fence and climb it regularly. Little tearaways, I know, but the views afforded to us were magnificent, for the time. We were all a lot smaller in stature so I guess the world looked a much bigger place.

We chilled up there on many occasions, I remember. There was a particular set of branches that mimicked a sort of makeshift seat. The one who got there first, had the most comfortable vantage point. The others had to find some of means of "relaxing" up there, lol. Fond memories indeed and a beautiful treasure trove from my younger days. I don't think I could ever sell this house, if anything but to be able to enjoy these little reminiscent moments in my life. The sun is shining bright today, which also further serves as a sweet reminder of my yesteryear.

Bless you all and spread the word of love in your day...

Childhood is a period in which to laugh freely. Dancing, stretching, laughing without burden. Childhood? Talking about our childhood must have its own story, but certainly a childhood is a period in which we can play as we please, have no significant burden. Even if there is a burden, it is just a simple thing. usually do not get a dream toy.

Yeah, I do miss the most "carefree" time of my life. Oh well, nothing last forever...

I support the idea of not selling such a memorable and values things like that too. The house is part of your history, I'm glad you live your childhood life to the fullness, now their is nothing missing or something to regret.... Smile

Totally! And I came so close to a sale not too long ago. Thank the lord I pulled out the deal right at the very end. Things have improved greatly from those times back then. :)

I'm sure you would have been regretting your decision by now if you don't pull out, I'm very happy to hear that things are changing.

Hard time don't last!!!!!

Our childhood memories are unforgettable and stay always related to the places we have been in. Even if you move far from that place, the memories will never fade. Once you close your eyes, everything comes back to live, as it is just happening at that moment.

I'm with you, @hanen. I actively remember the best times in my life so they remain fresh and vivid. Love life and be free! :)

wow well it's really amazing, how many years did you spend here? I can imagine how you feel about the memories and all I spent nearly 15 years In one house too, so have you left there?

Long time living in the same place, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Home is one of the most important aspects of one's life.

Well what can I say? There's nothing like home

Really some fond memories. We had a mango tree closed to our house that brings this same memory. My mum would beat us for climbing it because she fear us falling to hurt ourselves or worse, meet with a snake up there. But stubborn as we were, we would always return to the tree when she's out. I guess she didn't understand the beautiful view we had from up there.

I have travelled a lot, living in my 7th apartment now, I miss those memories. I learned sometime last year that the mango tree was sold to some dude who cut it down for timbers. Fond memories.

Nice story, bud. Sometimes adults forget how children perceive the world. Kids will always do what they are "meant" to do, lol! Have lots of fun and enjoy one of the best times of their lives. :)

Lovely reminiscing @ezzy and interesting that you've lived in the same house your entire life.

I drove past our childhood home a few years and it was changed beyond recognition. The orchard where we used to go apple scrumping was now a housing estate.

What we used to call the bumpy road, because it was unmade, is not tarmacked.

But . . . I still have the momories! 😁

Have a fun weekend!

It's the memories that we are left with, after all is said and done. Even money will become meaningless one day. It must be strange to see those once familiar surroundings look so different now.

Have a great time and enjoy the sun! :)

Everyone have a childhood experience and location that's not easy to forget. I have mine too and I hope to post it on steemit one day. I particularly love your this picture that reminds you about your childhood. Nature is life

Thank you, @bbstar. Many memories are contained within that image for me. I'm sure you also have your "reminders" of yesteryear, in your life. Thanks for stopping by. :)
