I definitely prepared for it! I ran every Sunday for 2 months before the marathon. In retrospect, I should've ran 3-4x a week instead :P That way, my legs would be used to the running. Once a week wasn't enough; my legs were sore every time I ran.

Haha, I was the same too. I barely could run a mile. All the practice paid off! If I can do it, you can too :)
