Vlog 219: Bitcoin toying with 10k again + Steem scaling update
Bitcoin is close to breaking $10k again. I wonder if it can do it.
If this is the beginning of a new uptrend I might regret my trading tactic, lol. (I have not bought above my baseline).
But for now I'm still sticking to my plan.
I would like to see a little more of a recovery before I make any changes to it.
STEEM is looking great at $4.35 and SBD at $5.36.
Last night the Steem inc. came out with a cool update about scaling here.

These changes have been in the works for many months, and represent a major step forward for Steem. AppBase provides a robust foundation for meeting all of our future scaling needs, and will allow us to grow the platform while at the same time managing the resource requirements for third-party application developers, witnesses, and exchanges to grow along with it.
I know for most users on the steem blockchain this might not be the most spectacular news because all the changes will be under the hood but in the future when millions use this blockchain it needs to run as smooth as it does today.
Now, as you know, this blockchain can already scale pretty well compared to most other blockchains here.
But with these changes the foundation will be even more solid for everyone to build on.

Yeah! Good article! I decided to take out 50% of my SBD into Bitcoin moving forward on a weekly basis. Friday is payday! Lol :-) Other than that I'll take 25% in fiat and the other 25% Steem Power! I'm also only going to power up my 25% if the SBD price is higher than STEEM. If SBD is less than STEEM then I'll hold the SBD. I'm going to try this for a while and see how it goes! I have noticed that Bitcoin's rise this morning... It is exciting of course... But I am wondering that SBD's rise... is this normal? I am happy with it but if the witnesses do something to make it to equal to 1 USD, that can be real disaster for all minnows as me. What is your opinion about this mr @exyle.
An SBD is worth 1 USD worth of STEEM. It is currently trading much higher for some reason. I think that is great for content creators at the moment. I do believe that given enough time it will come down to 1 USD worth of STEEM all by it self.
Anything that's good for Steemit long term is good for me too. I wish I was more knowledgeable about the "under the hood" parts and codes but I'm not a coder, just an artist super stoked to have a social platform where I can share my art, people who follow me can actually see it, and I can earn some money, and help others to earn some too! Yes you are a smart guy clearly... I think it is good that you not buy above the 10K mark i am just a small player in the crypto game but i can imagine that you are doing some Serious business on the exchanges. I think Steemit is great also because i can put in my sbd that i earn to Bittrex so i dont have to use any fiat..

Oké, Well i think longterm is the best way to go in crypto i have 6 coins that i Hodl longterm.
I see with daytrading that wen the big dip comes most off you hard work was for nothing.
I know its a matter off taking your profits and not getting to greedy but I must confess this is hard for me sometimes. Again i am a small fish i started out with 300 usd last september and on 6 februari i put in an other 500 usd and my portfolio is now x4 my investment i am really trying to build it up not even for myself but if crypto will last then i could be nice for my childeren in a few years. I also keep my day job😜😜😜

place over the next couple of years and i hope to grow with it
I'm super excited to see how many new apps will appear on this blockchain this year, as people realise it can handle a immense amount of traffic with this update.
The development will only increase in the future!
