Vlog 204: The Steem blockchain is maturing. It's certainly no longer just blogging!
What a great week so far!
First we had the interview with Ned and @heimindanger talking about the future of the blockchain and d.tube (here) and yesterday the interview with @andrarchy (community liaison Steemit) was released here.
It was great! I highly recommend you watch it.
He talks about what the team is busy with at the moment. And even though it's the same thing as months ago (HF20 (easy signups), communities and SMT's) for me personally it's reassuring.
It's nice to hear from the team.
The current developments take time. It's pioneering stuff and I happily wait until it's solid before it comes out. In the meantime there is plenty stuff to do already on the STEEM blockchain and that's already a huge difference with any other blockchain out there. It's certainly no longer just blogging!
STEEM inc. are also making the transition from being a startup company to a 'real' company and I guess that is a huge change for them but also for us early Steemians. Things are professionalizing and it will require a different mindset from all of us in the future.

Yeah I also noticed that. It is not the case with other blockchain technologies but at steem it looks like steemit community owns it so they are also contributing through side projects.
I surely watched the latest Ned video.
I like his answers, mostly the one about SBD price.
He surely put it to rest and it is all about the community and all steemians to fix the price.

Good news: I just found out (Steem's fork) Golos will migrate back to the Steem Blockchain as a SMT!

And the best part about all this is that i have barely noticed any spam content. Almost every single post i see, in new, or trending offers some kind of value.
Thanks for the links. Took some this morning and listened to everything. Seems like everything is progressing towards a very efficient platform for Steemit and very profitable crypto in Steem.
The constant efforts towards improvement and expansion is not seen in other crypto and the biggest reason I feel we have a great opportunity here.
Really looking forward to seeing how much growth we can have in the next 6, 12, and 24 months. Lots of room to grow here.

Yes that is how I see it also. Seen a few people on facebook talking about it being a quick way to make money in a few groups for my business. Been correcting them and letting them know there is no overnight success to making $500 profit per blog post. It takes work and dedication. But that it's better then the time they spend doing nothing productive on FB.
True talk....What Steem offers is a challenge of ingenuity and progress....To truly make it here, you must learn to adapt, evolve and consistently grow. You must also provide value and understand the biz aspect of blogging, vlogging etc on the Steem blockchain
Both the videos of Ned & Andy are wonderful, without any doubt Blockchain is the future and Steem is the best Blockchain, which handles the maximum volume at the current moment. Things look really exciting in future....
STEEM is the best blockchain and we are definitely going in right direction. I have little bit regret not knowing about Steemit when it was around 10 cent, but better now than never. Potential is enormous, which will also reflect on price.

More people need to know about Steemit and the freedom this social media platform offers. Steemit is a sanctuary of free thought and real life. A place where you can just blog about what you have going on in life and complete strangers wish you well and root you on. You can talk about things that are important to you and others from around the world can comment and share experiences. Steemit is a destination for journeyers. People that explore the world. Steemonians take advantage of life and we like to share our experiences. We like to read about new things and different perspectives that we can't get from the news or from other social media.

The Steem blockchain feels like a whole new internet.
It's still in its infancy, yes, but just like with the internet, when it catches on, you won't be able to live without it.
I know right? In the future, we all would have multiple streams of income from different crypto platforms.
