I was in the USAF at the time (no beard)Wife and son (she's dead)...he was about four...(he's forty or older now)
closer to now...although still a few years ago...notice how short my beard is?

my "boys'..they went trucking with me for several years..
now we all stay in an apartment while I write..

I called it "troglodyte" .. A W900 KW..with a 500hp Cat..and an 18speed transmixer..and four axles..
wasn't much it couldn't haul..that little bitty thang on the back warn't nothing..
I bought that truck new in 2000...and put over 2 million miles on it...
My Old Truck..before I got Troglodyte...I called it 'pete'.

I called it 'the old gal'...I bought it when it had 500k from Werner Enterprises...and when I traded it for Pete..it had 1.5 million...I'd replaced damn near everything on it at least once...new transmission, new engine...etc..etc..

You all look like my in-laws ... I call them the schooner, because when I entered the family it was like being the deckhand, sitting on the outermost bench in the galleon (and I even just returned from a year on the sea as a fisherman). Today I insist being first mate, and no one argues... The role of skipper is still my wife's uncle because... that is what he was back in the days.
