LA AMARGURA DE CORAZÓN: DEFINICIÓN THE HEART BITTER: DEFINITION
Cualquiera que haya tenido experiencia cultivando plantas de seguro se ha encontrado con hierbas malas, es decir, plantas que no tienen ningún atractivo, cualidad o propiedades medicinales. Estas afean el huerto, el terreno. Aunque un jardinero no quiera tenerlas, siempre estarán allí. Por eso es importante reconocerlas, ablandar la tierra donde están y sacarlas de raíz.
Anyone who has had experience growing insurance plants has encountered bad weeds, that is, plants that have no attractiveness, quality or medicinal properties. These disfigure the garden, the land. Even if a gardener does not want to have them, they will always be there. That is why it is important to recognize them, soften the land where they are and root out them.
Así describe Dios en su Palabra la amargura, como una mala planta que afea, daña, perjudica la vida. En la carta universal a los Hebreos está escrito así: "Mirad bien de que nadie deje de alcanzar la gracia de Dios; de que ninguna raíz de amargura, brotando, cause dificultades y por ella muchos sean contaminados" (12:15).
Thus God describes in his Word the bitterness, like a bad plant that disfigures, damages, harms the life. In the universal letter to the Hebrews it is written: "Take heed that no one fails to attain the grace of God, that no root of bitterness, springing up, causes difficulties and through it many are defiled" (12:15)
Cualquier diccionario lo define en algo parecido a un “sentimiento duradero de frustración, resentimiento o tristeza, especialmente por haber sufrido una desilusión o una injusticia”. Este pecado se da en el corazón, es decir en los pensamientos y afecta el alma de quien lo tiene. Como se leyó en el texto bíblico al brotar, al exteriorizarla causa dificultades y contamina a todos lo de alrededor.
Any dictionary defines it in something similar to a "lasting feeling of frustration, resentment or sadness, especially for having suffered a disappointment or an injustice". This sin occurs in the heart, that is, in the thoughts and affects the soul of the one who has it. As it was read in the biblical text when it springs, when externalizing it causes difficulties and contaminates everyone around.
En próximas entregas describiré otras actitudes que acompañan la amargura para que al detectarla en ti o en otros, procures llegar a la raíz y arrancarla para que no contamine a otros. Dios nos ayude a no contaminarnos de esta mala hierba ni a dejarnos contaminar por otros.
