GOD'S NOT DEAD, HE'S JUST NOT ANGRY... #onegospel (Facts about God most people don't know)

Hello reader, I am Eric Davidson and today I'll be pointing out some interesting facts about God Almighty that most people still don't know till date, would be giving some references to the bible, not leaving out some of my experience as well.
While growing, as a kid, i heard people ( mostly preachers), talk about the importance of loving God, and fearing him as well, because he is a consuming fire and all..., but as a “babe” in “Christ”, (young Christian), i only feared God, because i thought all he ever wanted to do was wait until he was ready to pass judgment on mankind, sending those who didn't do things his way to hell with the devil alongside the Christians who made a few mistakes, i thought each day the world didn't come to an end, he just sat on his royal chair counting our sins, documenting them in his book of life/ death. Growing up with this ideology, i felt God didn't deserve my love, and even if i loved him, it wouldn't change a thing, since he has more than a million people loving him already, i thought God was a potter without value for his crafts, and therefore i never really loved God.
But that was so cheesy and petty of me smiles, that was a very wrong picture i painted of in my mind.
Ever wondered why you should love God in the first place?, what special thing has he done to deserve our love?, One you have never seen, and even doubt his existence?.
Yeah, i also asked my self same questions for a long time until i got an answer. Growing up, i believed that, for one to be loved (not erotic love though... Lol) , one must earn it (mostly in cases of same sex). But that was so wrong. I'm writing this, because i know there are many out there just like the old me seeking answers to their questions.
After a long time of searching for answers to satisfy my curiosity, i began to create more time to analyse most events in the bible, then i realized that there were more than enough reasons to love God.
To show how great Gods love really is, I'd like to say that God used to be a very strict disciplinarian father filled with so much love for his children, until, he decided to balance things up, taking out the “strict” (that is, instead of passing harsh punishments/ sentences/ judgments on us, he cautions us with love and is ever ready to welcome us back when we return from going astray.) so all can come freely without fear of the “strict” father, but fear of hurting the feelings of the loving father. God once regretted creating man( Genesis 6:6
[6]And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.) And wanted to destroy the earth, (Genesis 6:7
[7]And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.) But just because he found one man worthy, he changed his mind(Genesis 6:8
[8]But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.) God can destroy the world if he wants to, but for this great love he has for his work, he never gives up on love, he could make us love him miraculously, but he want us to make the decision of loving him, he doesn't want to forced it on us, God also has feelings, emotions, he hurts too, he even went as far as bringing him self down to our level (giving up his only son, whom he was fully present in, that we might have eternal life, free gift of salvation, you don't even have to work to earn it, all you need to do is believe in Christ Jesus ... Its That simple).
After the death of Christ Jesus, God has never been angry at humans, he only gets disappointed each time we make the wrong decisions/ choices. But interestingly, although we take some nasty/ crazy actions, and make some funny mistakes, it still doesn't change his point of view/opinion about us, neither does it reduce the love he has for us, he is not willing to give up on us, until the decisions we make as we take our last breath, while he waits patiently for our love, he still shows us how much he cares, all that is good and perfect comes from God.
So can you now give me one reason, why you shouldn't a supreme being with this much love for you, one who never leaves you, one who goes through your rough times with you, no matter how many times you fail, he still doesn't give up on you, all he sees is success, made him self available for you, that when ever you call on him, he is right there to answer you (through the holy spirit that lives in us), has faith in you, never willing to let go even when you are not holding on? One with such great love, what more could anyone offer greater than love?
In the real sense, no matter how right we think we can live, we end up defaulting in one area of our life, but you see, God doesn't count the mistakes we make, he doesn't judge us by our actions, because he sees the heart, he has already forgiven our wrong doings even before we actualized them. What could you possibly give to God that's worth all he has done for you in return, how do you show that you really love God?, he doesn't need much from you, all he ever wanted and will always want in return is for you to love the people around you and him as well, is that too much to ask?, he did all these just so that he may gain our love.
One thing we must understand is that, God is not angry at us anymore, yes, he is a consuming fire, but not to his children, but to the devil and friends... smiles.
We all have good plans for our children, thats just same way God, our heavenly father does for his children. Such undying love. He gave humans “choice", which i consider to be the greatest power ever, (when we create robots, we always want them to carry out a specific task, leaving them no choice), trust me, if all God wanted was praise and worship, don't you think he would have created humans and just programmed them to praise and love him?, which would have been a lot easier, he is God almighty, he definitely can, but he went extra miles to create us so perfectly that we have a mind of our own, don't you think he has respect for us by doing that, why don't we just reciprocate that love and respect to God?.
Summary of it all... Love , respect, and avoid hurting God on purpose, he also has feelings. Remember, he created man in his image and likeness. God lives in you, he is your best friend, and if you ever wanted to hear him, then you should listen, wanna see him?, look in the mirror, resides in us.
