RE: An open question to the blockchain community about how your personal relationships have been affected.
Well, my wife knows about Steemit and has a page here, but there are not too many (at least for now) pages, people that she would enjoy reading and listening to. Same as with the things that she would have posted about - 99% of people around here would not care about that and that's totally understandable. Which is why I believe that the best future Steemit and other similar platforms can have is to attract as many people as possible outside of the crypto space
Yeah man I'm hoping we get more people to join in different niches so they can open up broader categories-- everything from sports, make-up tutorials, cars, and of course gaming. Some of the tech and financial stuff scares people away. I tell people that Steemit is a platform where you're incentivized to communicate with each other about different stuff. Non-blockchain platforms that aren't incentivized will become obsolete since they aren't spreading information but suppressing it, and breaking down the way we communicate. I'm thinking blockchain will give the internet a 2nd wave of coolness, freshness, and transparency.
