Unbearable Pain
I've been down with a throbbing headache that won't go away for 5 seconds since last Monday.
Doctor said it's likely a migrane, suggested we monitor it before running further tests. The pain is becoming unbearable though... Often spend my days crying in bed till the painkillers kick in.
Now it appears the painkiller meds aren't working as they should. I take them and four hours later am still whining in pain.
Has anyone here ever had a migrane before? Is it normal for it to be this painful, relentless, and should it last this long?
I'm tired. I've had my share of challenges but this is the first to actually make me feel like am totally at its mercy, and mercy I plead.
You guys should look after yourselves out there... I'd happily have taken preventive measures if I were forewarned.

I never had problems with migraine so I don't really know what to suggest...

Migraines suck, but they shouldn't take this long to pass, should they? Normally for me it is a bad day, then a couple days recovery. But I don't get them often now.

Oh migrates are agony, if someone hasn't experienced one it's near impossible to describe it. In sorry you are experiencing this, I will petition the Most High for His mercy.
