RE: Personal reflections on the therapeutic effects of writing

in #life6 years ago

Hi Scott, that's an interesting point of view. Glad to see that a thing such simple as writing, can turn one's life around so much. I'm positively switched by positive outcomes, and if you're a writer by nature, it will further on continue to influence your existence. Hope we can spread the 'pen and paper' habit further on, to others as it's a way healthier habit comparing to desktop writing.

Anyway, looking forward for your new articles. You have now a new follower. Cheers

@elrojo,

My hand writing is chicken scratch, so I use desktop writing by default. First, so that I can read it, second, for archival purposes. Digital storage is really cheap. Paper storage, not so much.

But I am glad we have common ground just on writing. And I do agree with you about the benefits of hand writing. It's just that since I've found the keyboard, I can spew my thoughts much faster than by paper and pen - and still be able to read them later.

Glad to see you're following. I'll check out your profile, too.

Yes haha of course digital is way more accessible, and i find it easier too in terms of completing a piece of writing in less time;

I was referring to the benefits of hand-writing, more as i thought that was the primary thing that has helped you do the mental shift. I guess i was transmuting my experience into your writing, which i shouldn't have, but we all do it anyway :p .

Thank you for the check back; although, there isn't much to check, other than a couple of posts. Hope you'll enjoy it though :).
