Violation of rights of minor girls | मामूली लड़कियों के अधिकारों का उल्लंघन

Incidents of violation of rights of women have become a matter of serious concern in the urban areas of the country. Women from economically backward and less educated communities have been primarily affected.

It is seen that many well educated families engage minor girls as housemaids to look after their children and to perform domestic work. Unfortunately, protection of rights of such minor girls has never been given any priority. These minorgirls are never given any opportunity for higher studies or to learn any life skills, making them more vulnerable once they are released from work. I would like to request the authorities concerned to prohibit engagement of minor girls as maids in the city and to take strict action against defaulters.

महिलाओं के अधिकारों का उल्लंघन करने की घटनाएं देश के शहरी क्षेत्रों में गंभीर चिंता का विषय बन गई हैं । आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े और कम शिक्षित समुदायों की महिलाएं मुख्य रूप से प्रभावित हुई हैं।

ऐसा देखा जाता है कि कई अच्छी तरह से शिक्षित परिवार छोटे बच्चों को अपने बच्चों की देखभाल करने और घरेलू काम करने के लिए घर के टुकड़े के रूप में संलग्न करते हैं । दुर्भाग्यवश, ऐसी छोटी लड़कियों के अधिकारों की सुरक्षा को कभी भी प्राथमिकता नहीं दी गई है । इन मामूली लड़कियों को कभी भी उच्च अध्ययन के लिए या किसी भी जीवन कौशल सीखने का अवसर नहीं दिया जाता है, जिससे उन्हें काम से रिहा होने के बाद उन्हें अधिक कमजोर बना दिया जाता है । मैं संबंधित अधिकारियों से अनुरोध करना चाहता हूं कि वे मामूली लड़कियों की सगाई को शहर में नौकरानी के रूप में निषिद्ध करें और डिफॉल्टर्स के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई करें।
