No, that’s not a roller coaster! It’s a bridge in Japan

If you’ve ever wanted to experience what it’s like to ride a roller coaster sitting in your own car, then the Eshima Ohashi bridge in Japan might be your chance. Although the bridge doesn’t have any spins or loops, it can make even the most confident drivers fearful of driving on it.
We here at Bright Side would like to share some of the best photos of this scream-worthy place. Get ready to feel the chills and shivers down your spine!
The Eshima Ohashi bridge, which connects the cities of Matsue and Sakaiminato, is about 1.7km long and 11.3m wide.11.jpg

It is the third largest rigid frame bridge in the world.22.jpg
It seems like cars would just slip and slide right back down. The amazing height allows large ships to pass underneath.33.jpg

Despite looking terrifying, the Eshima Ohashi bridge is actually quite safe. In fact, it’s all about perspective — the pictures above are quite scary, but when seen from a different angle it looks more like an ordinary bridge with a relatively steep incline. But still, would you be brave enough to drive on it

Sort:

it would be safer if they were driving on the right side of the road

That must not be fun in the rain...I can picture trying to navigate it in a downpour.

hhhhhhhhhhh
