That knife looks awesome. I'm not sure if it's the thickness of it, the metal, the wicked point, the curved bit there between the base and the sharper edge, or the combination of it, but it's cool. So I guess this kiri is used in woodworking and the like?
It reminds of a more lethal Exacto knife. :)

thanks, yep it did come out looking cool. It wasn't actually planned, I just had some steel left and I taught why not play around a bit.
And yes, it's basically a marking knife for woodworking.
