Valuable Experience During "KKN (Real Work Lecture)"

Hello Steemians, I want to tell you about my experience when KKN.

In Maret 2017, we as Malikussaleh University students are required to attend KKN (Real Work Lecture) which is a requirement given by college before graduating students. When going to KKN, students will be divided into several groups. Each group of students will consist of several students from different courses.

We consist of 15 people (8 men and 7 women). The area we live in is a village called Alue Badee, Simpang Kramat, North Aceh. This village has only 40 heads of families with a great distance between homes.

But on the other hand, KKN keeps a lot of stories, grief and experience so valuable.

• Feel A Month without TV and Internet
  When our KKN experienced a month's taste without television and internet. Because our area is located far from urban areas so to contact the family alone we have to travel a few kilometers to be able to call parents.

• Have A High Sense of Togetherness
  Goto mutual activities may be rarely met in the city. But in the village, this activity is still durable and always done. Even not just cleaning the yard of the village and mosque, the residents also help other residents who are building a house. We deeply felt the warm atmosphere of the family among the villagers who were so friendly.

• Horror Events
  The village location of KKN is on average located in a location far from the city. So reasonable if at night must always be minimal lighting, quiet and quiet. There my friend had a trance in the night, we were shocked and ran to call the head of his village, after read the prayer by the head of the village my friend was normal again.

• Participate Happily to see the joy of the village children
  One of the KKN program is learning guidance and early childhood education (Early Childhood Education). the joy of the children who love to learn together with KKN brothers. Their desire, their joy and their initiative to learn, made us want to see them again.

• Water Crisis
  The water crisis has become commonplace in the villages of KKN location. Especially if KKNnya pas dry season. We have to evacuate to bathe and wash in the homes of citizens. We have to learn to adapt to the existing conditions.

• Learn to Cook
  Mother's mother will always cook a variety of delicious dishes for you. Well, take advantage of this opportunity to learn to cook with your landlady. In addition, different places are also culinary difference. When else can we learn the typical culinary regions other than the time of KKN?

• Learn A Good and True Aceh Language
  KKN in Simpang Kramat, Aceh made my friends who come from outside Aceh must be willing to learn the language of Aceh is good and true. You see, many people in the village can not speak Indonesian. Sometimes we laugh at seeing my friends do not understand when talking to villagers.
