The Natural Pregnancy Diary : Surprise RUINED ( 21 Weeks)

I'm half way through my pregnancy and I growing more impatient as the weeks go by (maybe hormones) because I can't wait to hold my little bundle of joy. We had a our 20 week anatomy scan last Thursday and baby is growing well and very active.

While we did not want to know the sex of the baby until birth, the ultrasound tech accidentally revealed the baby's gender to me while @opinizeunltd looked away . So now I know and he doesn't , LOL !

The best part about this stage of my pregnancy is that I now feel the baby move more often. Due to the fact that most women are at risk of miscarriage before the 20 week mark , I was always worried about the comfort of my baby . I could hardly wait for the next doctor's visit just to hear the heartbeat and make sure the baby was moving . We wanted to share a video of the baby being active but unfortunately no cellphones are allowed in the ultrasound room.

This beautiful experience is happening so fast that a few weeks ago my pregnancy seemed so unreal and I was worried about not being able to connect with the growing life inside me. However, since this last ultrasound it has began to sink in and feels great to know I am at the halfway mark and on my way to motherhood.
