Technological Musings...

I had a dream last night in which I heard a male voice say that they felt sympathy for machines because they only "live" for "a minute in infinity" whereas living beings, as souls, get to experience "the whole thing". It is kind of sad I suppose in a sense... But I'll also say that while I can anthropomorphize them to an extent, my sense of sympathy just doesn't extend to machines in the same way that it does to living forms of consciousness. Quite an interesting experience, anyway.
