Helping the neediest- A humanitarian act.

Hi Steemians, I would like to share with you a great experience that I had recently, wich was to take food to a group of people living in garbage dump, near the city of Calabozo, Guarico State, Venezuela.

Friday evening, we met at the house of a friend to make the buns that are done (food made from cornmeal), I left, but my girlfriend stayed until 22:00 cooking .

The next day we met many young people all of them in two cars, it is a little to the expectation and nervous, since Venezuela is not very safe and did not know what kind of people live in the garbage dump. Dust, smoke, bad smells, and a lot of sunshine on arriving (there are not many trees there), where those people were, and we saw the great need for what was happening.

One of the cases that struck me most was a 2-year-old little boy, Felipe, of 3 brothers was the only one who had reached that age, the others died at a very early age because of the conditions of life.

It was sad to see people living in these conditions and I would have loved to have done more for them, but the lack of resources did not allow us, but having seen the face of happiness in those children is priceless.

One of the children did not want to eat because he was saving that food for his mother, having so little and still wanted to share what little he had. It is a great example for us that we have greater ease of having things and sometimes we are a little petty.

At the end of the day it was very gratifying to see the joy of these people, all the effort was worth, we bring the love of God to those people.
