In order to make it closer, one just gotta benchmark themselves in hoe to shorten the yardsticks in between. Like after 10 years, at least a quarter of the debts had to be settled. How to achieve that? Break it down on yearly basis. Once you have the year stick, further bring it down to monthly, then you can work your way towards that monthly challenge. How to bring enough food on the table and yet able to pay for the house. It's the same shit here in Kuala Lumpur.
