It is saddening that in our society today, children are now treated as slaves in the medieval times and these ill-treatments are eating deep into Africa at large. We need really to rise against Child Abuse even to the face of parents and guardians who claim "it is my child, and so do to him/her what I please". We need to let them know that the child also has got some rights.
